Last year we supported the Free To Shine charity at the Sunshine Coast Masquerade Ball. Their aim: Empowering with an education to prevent sex trafficking.

We are very excited to provide you with photos of the final 10 girls that we have enrolled onto our program using the funds raised from last year’s Sunshine Coast Masquerade Ball.
These girls were chosen after assessing a number of different villages and meeting with school directors and village leaders. Once again, thank you. They have been provided with 2 uniforms, a pair of shoes and a bag full of books, pens and school resources and a bike. They have been assigned 2 Education Outreach Officers who will visit them each every month to support her and her family through any challenges they encounter.
We will now recruit an ongoing sponsor for each of these girls to support them through until they finish high school. If you or any of your friends wish to be her sponsor then simply let Kylie Anderson, our sponsorship coordinator know on kylie@freetoshine.org quoting reference SC Ball and she’ll talk you through the sponsorship process.
